Overview
We have an exciting Quality Engineer opportunity available at a growing Aircraft Manufacturer located in Florida. Relocation assistance is available.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with the operations team to implement quality standards and manufacturing methods for process control, assembly, and inspection.
- Create quality assurance processes, product/process procedures, and work instructions.
- Perform statistical analysis for problem-solving and quality improvement projects.
- Lead problem-solving teams; identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and verify effectiveness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of experience as a Quality Engineer with at least 3 years in the aerospace industry.
- Direct experience with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action (RCA, RCCA).
- Knowledge of AS9100.
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, time management, prioritization, organizational, and planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work individually or in a team environment, along with flexibility to ensure team coverage of all quality-related activities.
